HOMA STUDY began with a personal experience, not a business plan.
Homa Yaghoubian left home alone at sixteen to study abroad — Abbey College Cambridge, in England. She began in Physics. In those same years she experienced something no brochure ever mentions: the real cost of inadequate educational guidance. Decisions that should have been made with full knowledge had been made without it.
That experience became her standard. She deliberately redirected her studies toward business and completed a Master's in Organizational Management and Economics & Finance at Marmara University in Istanbul. The result is a path lived across four countries — Iran, the UK, Germany, and Turkey. Each move added a layer of understanding that now serves our students.
On the other side of this foundation stands her father: a university professor who has devoted his life to education. His presence means every recommendation we make is rooted in a deep understanding of higher education, not a sales table. This combination — his decades of academic wisdom and her lived international experience — is what separates us from a conventional agency. The foundation rests on an 80-year family legacy in higher education; the company itself has operated by these same standards for more than 8 years.
Our model is simple and transparent: students pay nothing to apply. Partner universities compensate us through official agreements, and tuition is always paid directly to the university. The founder's story
She was sixteen when she packed for study abroad — alone. The destination was Abbey College Cambridge; the subject, Physics.
In the years far from home she experienced something no brochure describes: when guidance is inadequate, the student pays for it in years of their life. That experience changed her direction — not as a setback, but as the most precise lesson a future advisor could receive.
She continued in business and completed a Master's in Organizational Management and Economics & Finance at Marmara University, Istanbul. Iran, the UK, Germany, Turkey — four countries, four education systems, one result: she knows your path closely, because she has walked it herself.
