For an Iranian applicant with no Turkish, choosing a Turkish-dominant university usually means a preparatory year before subject teaching begins — a year of living costs and a year's delay in graduating. With 72 English-taught entries, that year can usually be skipped here; and once you put it into the total-cost calculation, the higher tuition floor closes part of its own gap.

The second advantage is depth in engineering. 33 engineering entries inside a 116-entry catalogue means specific branches rather than a handful of generic titles, and because the list extends to doctoral level, a student thinking about research can see all three stages in one place. Set against that: if you are aiming at dentistry or pharmacy, this is not your university and we should be looking at a different list.

Bachelor's admission is assessed on your high-school record, and Iran's national entrance exam plays no part in it. The 72 English-taught entries require a language certificate or a pass in the university's own English exam — and because those entries are the majority of the list, at this university your English file is usually the central question rather than Turkish.

The 44 Turkish-taught entries follow the usual route of a Turkish preparatory year. Master's and doctoral entries look at your previous degree and its transcripts; in the engineering entries the alignment between your previous field and your target field matters, and doctoral admission normally involves a research proposal or record as well. An undergraduate file holds high-school transcripts and diploma with official translations, a copy of a valid passport, a passport photo, and an English certificate for the English-taught entries. For master's and doctoral entries the previous degree and its transcripts are added, plus a statement of purpose, references and — at doctoral level — a research proposal, depending on the entry.
