The main advantage is a combination that does not often appear together: a floor of $3,600 a year, and a catalogue whose weight is on English-taught programs. A student on a limited budget who also does not want to spend a year on Turkish will not find many options in Ankara that do both.

The second is for engineers. When 13 of 27 programs are engineering, changing between branches during the application — or changing your mind after seeing the fees — does not mean leaving the university. And with master's level in the same list, continuing does not require moving to a new file in a new city.

Bachelor's admission at Turkish private universities is assessed on your high-school record, and Iran's national entrance exam plays no part in it. The 19 English-taught programs here require a language certificate or a pass in the university's own exam; for the 8 Turkish-taught programs, a Turkish preparatory year is the usual route.

For master's admission the bachelor's degree and its transcripts are the basis of the review, and some programs also ask for a statement of purpose or references. Engineering programs in some years apply a firmer threshold on core-subject grades; we confirm the current year's threshold with the university rather than estimate it, and tell you in your free consultation.
