Istanbul Esenyurt University — Admissions, Programs and Tuition

Istanbul Esenyurt University is a private university in Istanbul. Before anything else an applicant should know the language of instruction: all three programs published for it on this page are taught in Turkish.

Bachelor's admission at Turkish private universities is assessed on your high-school record, and Iran's national entrance exam plays no part in it. Because the programs published here are Turkish-taught, your language condition is not an English certificate: it is the Turkish preparation year, or evidence that you already have the language.

For master's entry, your bachelor's degree and transcripts are the basis of the assessment. Like the rest of our partner private universities, Esenyurt runs rolling admission: no fixed application deadline is announced, and programs close when their international quota fills rather than on a set date. Because all three of its published programs are Turkish-taught, competition on them tends to run lower than on the English-taught programs that draw the most applicants at other universities.

A standard bachelor's file holds your high-school transcripts and diploma with official translations, a copy of a valid passport and a passport photo. Here, enrolment in the Turkish preparation year takes the place of an English certificate, unless your Turkish can already be evidenced.

Like every university we work with, Istanbul Esenyurt University held a YÖK license — from Turkey's Council of Higher Education — before we added it to our partner list; that is the baseline requirement, and we do not publish a university without it. YÖK is the only body authorized to license higher-education institutions and their degrees in Turkey.

Turkey has been a full member of the Bologna Process since 2001, so YÖK-licensed universities — Istanbul Esenyurt University among them — issue degrees built on ECTS credits, the same framework used across the European higher-education area. Winters are mild and rainy, summers warm and humid.
