If you are not, your choice narrows to 24 programs, and at that point comparing it against the more English-oriented universities on this site is the fairer exercise.

Bachelor's admission rests on your high-school record; Iran's national entrance exam plays no part. The 24 English-taught programs require an English certificate or a pass in the university's own exam. The 133 Turkish-taught programs normally mean a Turkish preparatory year, and that belongs in your timeline and your budget from the outset.

For master's and doctoral study the previous degree and its transcripts are the basis of assessment, with a statement of purpose and references added depending on the field. We obtain each program's specific conditions from the university before a file is submitted.

A standard file holds high-school transcripts and diploma with official translations, a copy of a valid passport, a passport photo and, for English-taught programs, a language certificate. For master's and doctoral applications, the previous degree and transcripts are added, and some programs also ask for a statement of purpose and references.
